Founded by John Zengeler in 1857 and now under the leadership of his great-great grandson Tom, Zengeler Cleaners is one of the oldest and largest dry cleaners in the Midwest and one of the premier dry cleaning companies in the United States. The company has 150 employees and 8 stores, including the headquarters on Dundee Road in Northbook, (founded in 1967), Deerfield, Hubbard Woods, Northfield, Winnetka, two in Libertyville and now Long Grove. There are also 8 home pick-up and delivery routes.
