DUI
Denyse Martins Gomes, 34, of 990 Enfield, Northbrook, was charged Jan. 15 with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, improper .lane use, disobeying a traffic control signal and failure to dim headlights. she was released on a $1,000 signature bond with a March 1 court date. Police said she was charged after she was stopped at Founders and Willow shortly before midnight.
Jorge Solano-Ocampo, 25, of 261 Renee, Wheeling, was charged Jan. 22 with driving under the influence of drugs, improper lane use, driving without proof of insurance, driving with a suspended license, driving without a valid license, aggravated driving under the influence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was being held without bond pending a court appearance. Police said he was stopped from traffic offenses on the 900 block of Dundee and the officer saw him smoking what appeared to be marijuana.
BURGLARY
A radar detector valued at $500 was taken Jan. 17 from a car in a lot on the 1000 block of Skokie.
An undetermined number of coins were taken Jan. 20 from an office on the 3600 block of Commercial. Police said employees arrived that morning and found the front door lock missing and several officer doors kicked open.

THEFT
Three small jewelry boxes were taken between Jan. 13 and 15 from a house on the 2000 block of Big Oak.
Alexandra Anna Kelikian, 23, of 1083 Willow Road, Winnetka, was charged Jan. 16 in a court appearance ticket with retail theft by deception . She is to appear in court March 12. Police said she was seen at Whole Foods Market in Willow Festival removing the price tags from some items, putting tags she had in her pocket on the items and then tried to obtain a refund. Police said the items were valued at $100.
Brandon M. Hutchins, 23, of 6940 West Villard, Milwaukee, WI., was charged Jan. 16 with retail theft. He was released on $1,500 bond with a March 1 court date. Police said he removed a pair of True Religion jeans valued at $147 from Neiman Marcus in Northbrook Court.
