The following incidents were listed in the official reports of the Northbrook Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest by police does not constitute a finding of guilt; only a court of law can make that determination.

He is to appear in court Feb. 16. In addition, a second person, Dinu R. Rascol, 27, of 3923 Mayfair, Dearborn Heights, MI., was arrested during the investigation on an outstanding warrant from the Chicago Police Department for theft. He is to appear in court March 6.

ALCOHOL
Two 16-year-old boys, one from Glencoe and one from Wilmette, were charged Feb. 3 in court appearance tickets with possession of alcohol by a minor after they received two cases of beer from a Glenview man who police say purchased it for them at Otis and Lee Liquors, 1026 Waukegan Road. Both juveniles were turned over to their fathers. Police said Ian Mooney-Salazar, 21, of 3124 Mary Kay Lane, Glenview, was approached by the juveniles as he entered the store. He came out and placed two cases of beer in the vehicle used by the boys, police said. Mooney-Salazar was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a child and possession of marijuana.
