The following incidents were listed in the official reports of the Northbrook Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest by police does not constitute a finding of guilt; only a court of law can make that determination.

BATTERY

Michael A. Threatte, 28, of 4141 Cardinal Court, Northbrook, was charged at 1:30 p.m. May 16 with domestic battery after police said he pushed and choked a victim during an altercation on the 4100 block of Cardinal Court. A computer check indicated that Threatte also was wanted on a $50,000 warrant for forgery by Lake County and a $10,000 warrant for a deceptive practice by DuPage County. He was scheduled to appear in court May 17.

Zachary A. Rose, 20, of 614 Glendale, Glenview, was cited at 9 p.m. May 19 with possession of alcohol by a minor after police said Rose became jealous when a woman with him allegedly showed more attention to another man than to him and struck her at Floral Park on the 2900 block of Floral Drive. A June 25 court date was set.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Vandals broke during the night of May 15 several windows of three buses parked at the Decoma Day Camp on the 4300 block of Walters Avenue.

Someone defaced the west side of the brick equipment shed in the rear of the Northbrook Park District’s Sports Complex on the 1700 block of Pfingsten Avenue.

THEFT

A customer purchased at about 3 p.m. May 13 a purse for $698 from the Coach store, 2158 Northbrook Court, but also left the store without paying for another purse valued at $598.

Someone stole at 2:30 p.m. May 13 two HTC ReZound cell phones valued at about $295 each from the Verizon store on the 200 block of Skokie Boulevard.

A Glenbrook North High School student between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. May 14 reported the loss of his cell phone on the 2300 block of Shermer Road.
