The following incidents were listed in the official reports of the Northbrook Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest by police does not constitute a finding of guilt; only a court of law can make that determination.

An employee of Dominick’s Finer Foods on the 4100 block of Dundee Road approached June 29 an older man and told him not rifle through the dumpsters. The man pushed the employee away, then left the area. The employee told police that the man had been told on several occasions not to do that. Officers checked the area, but did not find the man.
