Skateboarding
lessons

Dude! Want to learn how to skateboard? Whether you’re a beginner or you just want to fine tune your skills, sign up for this four week class that will have you riding a board in no time, and showing off some pretty cool tricks. Helmets required and elbow and wrist guards are strongly encouraged. When: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturdays (starts Saturday) for 5- to 7-year-olds, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays (starts Saturday) for 8- to 10-year-olds. Social skills group for teens

If you have a child, 12 to 14 years old who is experiencing difficulty in their social environment, sign him or her up for this group, aimed to help adolescents learn to establish and maintain positive peer relationships and overcome barriers to social interaction. Field hockey

Who better to teach field hockey than Olympian, Katie Beach? Join Katie in a six-week beginner class where you’ll learn basic skills, field positions, rules and team concepts. Field hockey sticks and shin and mouth guards are required. For ages 7-14. When: 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays (starts Tuesday) through July 31. Outdoor concert

Grab a lawn chair or a picnic blanket and head over to Village Green to listen to “Rhythm Rockets!” This vintage rhythm and blues and jazz band has a female vocalist and three saxophone players who will give you their great interpretations of 1940s and 1950s songs. Golf with a pro

Need a little help with your golf swing? Want to improve your score? If so, take advantage of Sportsman’s Country Club’s “Play with a Pro!” Just pay applicable green fees and cart fees, and book a tee time for up to three players, and you’ll be paired up with one of their pros who will give you some great tips on the course! Detective club

Want to be the next Sherlock Holmes? If so, take part in “Detective Club,” a fun, interesting club for third and fourth graders that helps teach kids crime solving strategies. Canine massage class

A massage for your dog?? Yes! Dog’s need to relax too! Join Helene Esrales Weber, a licensed massage therapist who specializes in animals, as she discusses the anatomy of your dog and common health issues.
