Glenbrook High School District 225 in Glenview and Northbrook unveiled a new Web site featuring interactive calendars, scrolling news and social media.
Site designers relied a 2011 communication audit and small discussion groups, as well as focus groups, including parents, students, staff and community members.
The website at http://www.glenbrook225.org/ received an average participant rating of more than 8.5 on a 10-point scale in design, navigation, features and overall functionality.
“We are pleased to put forth a product that enhances the online experience for our users and allows staff easier access to contribute valuable information,”
said Karen Geddeis, director of Public Relations and Communications for the district.
“We view the website as a continuous work-in-progress as we add additional content and alterations based on user feedback.”
The new website also shows user portals, homepage icons, and a navigation design based on the district’s philosophy of the three A’s: Academics, Activities and Athletics, Geddeis said.
