Mark your calendar for Northbook Chamber's Auction and Taste

NORTHBROOK – The Northbrook Chamber of Commerce reminds residents to save the date for its Auction and Taste Monday, Oct. 29, at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel.
More than 400 members and guests are expected to attend to bid on hundreds of items. A highlight of the event is the food provided by 20 prominent area restaurants.
Members can support the fundraiser through a variety of sponsorships or by donating at the auction. Sponsorships include admission to the event, acknowledgement in all print materials and other benefit.
The following items are always popular and generate a lot of interest from bidders:
-Small electronics such as iPods, TVs, computer tables and digital cameras
-Chicago professional sports tickets, especially Bears, Blackhawks, Cubs and White Sox
-Broadway in Chicago theater tickets or concert tickets
-Restaurant certificates or retail gift cards
-Gift baskets
-Overnight hotel stays
