Finiti Branding Group announces corporate name change to FIN Branding Group

NORTHBROOK — The Northbrook-based Finiti Branding Group announced its official name change on Wednesday, Aug. 29. The company changed its name to reflect the popularity of its leading FIN brand electronic cigarette. The company also announced the appointment of Joseph H. Kiely to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer.

While Kiely is new to the FIN team, he is a veteran senior executive with a diverse consumer products background. Kiely’s track record for tackling complex business issues includes experience at Procter and Gamble, Sara Lee Bakery, and most recently, the Campbell Soup Company.

“I’m thrilled to be working in this exciting new industry. The team at FIN has put the company in a position to capitalize on a tremendous opportunity for growth and expansion. We have great optimism for the future.” said Kiely.

He earned his undergraduate degree in business from Harvard and master’s degree in business from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

A family-owned business, Finiti Branding Group changed its corporate name to FIN Branding Group, mirroring the rapid growth of its industry-leading electronic cigarette. The FIN brand was launched in April of 2012 with full page ads in Rolling Stone Magazine. The campaign featured a series of full-page print advertisements showing settings like a bowling alley, a bar, an office, and a sports stadium, with the headline: Welcome Back. FIN used an integrated campaign they hoped would spark awareness and increases sales. The campaign reached 24 million smokers through print, social media, digital and events.
