Winkelman School to offer after-school spanish program

GLENVIEW – Spanish language instruction from the Language Stars Company will be available for the 2012-2013 school year at Winkelman School for students in kindergarten to fifth grades.

Classes begin Oct. 2. This optional tuition-based program is offered on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. The kindergarten Spanish class will meet from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. between morning and afternoon kindergarten. The 1st through 5th grade classes will meet after school from 2:40 to 3:40 p.m.

The deadline to submit registration forms to Language Stars is Friday, Sept. 14. Parents may enroll their children in the 25-week program either once or twice per week.
