Concert in the Park
Come join Glenbrook North’s bands and choirs at the Village Green for Concert in the Park at 12:30 p.m. June 2. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets. The Band Parents Organization will be selling concessions. The concert is free and open to the public.
GBN student presented
Congressional Award
Nick Oliva, a junior at Glenbrook North High School, was recently presented by Congressman Robert J. Dold (R-10th) with the Congressional Award Silver Medal for service to his community. He was awarded the medal as part of his achievements through The Congressional Award Program.
Students create mural
Recently, a group of art students from Glenbrook North traveled to the YMCA in Northbrook to create a mural. Children attending Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA created the lower half of the mural. The GBN students also helped these children paint in shapes of color and coordinated their efforts.
