Noteworthy efforts: The junior star made five birdies and had no bogeys for a 5-under 30 at Sportsman’s Country Club on Aug. 30 as the Spartans beat Maine East 147-218. Montana Paley
Noteworthy efforts: The senior kicker has gone 7-for-9 on point-after attempts this season. The first miss was because of a bad snap in the opener. She then connected on her first six PATs against Lane before having her last one blocked in the 48-24 win.

What was the best movie you saw in the theater? “The Batman movie was cool. It definitely is on the top of my list of favorite movies right now.”What music are you listening to right now? “Darius Rucker, the country singer. He’s on my iPod a lot.”What’s one of your go-to restaurants around town? “Real Urban Barbeque in Highland Park. I like the pulled pork.”What’s your favorite class right now? “Probably astronomy. That’s been a lot of fun. I’ve always been into space exploration and knowing what’s beyond Earth. It’s really intriguing.”
What was the highlight of your summer away from the golf course? “Over the July 4 weekend, I went up to a friend’s house in Michigan, where I went boating with a couple of friends. It was nothing special. It was more about relaxing and taking a breather before playing a lot of tournaments.”
