Wrestling: Glenbrook North’s Ro makes improbably run to regional championship

thumbnail

WRESTLING: With only three regional champions in the past eight years, Glenbrook North might not be well-known for its wrestling program. But don’t tell that to Cort Ro and Michael Maksimovic, two Spartans who won regional titles Saturday at the 126- and 145-pound weight classes.

Girls Basketball: Ramblers never locate their shooting touch against Trinity

Girls Basketball: Trinity cruises to GCAC title with romp over Loyola

In a rematch of last year’s final, the Blazers limited Loyola to single digits in all four quarters and cruised to a 49-18 title victory in River Forest.

Boys Basketball: Loyola no match for hot Waukegan squad
